What events occured at this place on October 30, 1938 which caused widespread furore and panic?
Martians land on our planet...start destroyin our planet.. send the strongest nation into panic.... heheehe this isnt real.. it was an adaptation of a H.G.WELLS novel aired on CBS news that was taken to be real by the listners sending the USA into panic and confusion.... and the stone is the monument in Van Nest Park commemorating the place where the martians landed.....
wikied it for the details.... again rashmi ur missing on the fact that u r givin away a bit too much....... i just knew this monument was for the hoax but then when i just googled for the date this is what i got on the first search..... so u cud hav done widout da date.....
